David Selves
David Selves, the son of a Spitfire pilot who later pursued a successful banking career, was born in London and, himself, became a banker before setting up his own finance business. Now theoretically retired, his love of life and sport provide the perfect foil to his hectic life, but very little will come between him and playing cricket. A former Parliamentary candidate in 1987, he tours the country as an after dinner speaker, and is heavily committed to achieving the revision of the United Nations Charter, involving discussions with diplomats and politicians from around the world. He is the author of Quentin - A Spy, Life Goes on Forever, Target Clinton and The Noble Challenge. He became Treasurer of the London Press Club earlier this year.
